Total Number of Internet Users upto 2012

Maybe you wonder how much is actually the total internet users, or internet users by 2012 this?. If you're opening this blog, then you belong to one of the many internet users in this planet. Which of course is always increasing internet users dar increased from year to year, but how much is the exact number?.
As you know that more than 7 billion people occupy our planet, it is more than one third of Internet users, but how many actually existing internet users?

According to data, issued by internetworldstats, based on recent data obtained as of December 31, 2011 total Internet users was approximately 2,267,233,742 (2.2 billion more). Based on the geographical position where the first big users are in Asia, which amounted to 1,016,799,076, while the second position on the European continent is about 500,723,686, while the third position, namely in the areas of North America which is about 273,067,546, the rest are in Latin America and the African continent, and Australia. As shown from the graph below:

While based on the penetration rate, the presentation was the largest in North America with a percentage as much as 78.6%, while the penetration rate is the second largest in Australia with a percentage of 67.5% and was the third largest continent with a percentage of 61.3%, followed Latin America, Asia, and Africa.


Presentation of the numbers above mean increase penetration of Internet users per month as many as 19,136,415 people, or almost about 8 people per second. It was an extraordinary figure is not it?. For those of you are business oriented, of course, the internet is a huge market share to run. While in Indonesia alone, the majority of the people is still a "user" or the user, not the culprit (business), then this opportunity is very, very wide open.
