Kshetram Movie Review

STORY
The story is about the idols of lord Penchalamma Narasimha Swamy. The descendants of Sri Krishnadevaraya are the hereditary trustees of the temple. However, the idols are shifted to a nearby hill and the temple has no idols. The people in the neighboring 45 villages want the idols installed back in the temple as they are facing several hardships due to the idols not being installed back in the temple.
Narasimha Rayulu (Jagapathi Babu) and Naga Penchalamma (Priyamani) decide to install the idols back in the temple. However Narasimha Rayulu’s efforts are stalled by Kota and his son Adithya Menon. They are the evil uncle and cousin of Narasimha Rayulu and eye the property of the lord that is in trust being handled by Narasimha Rayulu. So, Kota and co. kill Narasimha Rayulu. Penchalamma is also killed.

Penchalamma takes birth as Sohini (Priyamani). She falls in love with Chakri (Kick Shyam). Chakri is none other than the son of the evil Adithya Menon, the cousin brother of Narasimha Rayulu. How Penchalamma who has taken rebirth s Sohini completes the unfinished task in her previous life is the story.

FINAL WORD: Kshetram is a kichidi  of Chandramukhi and Arundhati.The film never picks up and it is a big torture.The film is a shoddy effort and is not worth watching.
